Help me Pick my DJ !!!

It's about time for me to start making appointments and picking out a DJ and I have only three main criteria:

1) Resonably priced....Im not looking to go crazy or over the budget, just someone who you feel has at least decent price ranges and packages.

2) Someone who is down-to-earth, friendly and easy to talk to...not a salesman type, just someone who gives you a good vibe when you walk through the door.

3) Can handle a wide variety of music. We're having a half italian, half latin wedding and we need the DJ to plays lots ot different types of music.


Can anyone give me any recommendations???

FM Entertainment would be perfect for you. They're really reasonably priced, and def. not the salesmen type. They actually do their own showcases on Mon. and Wed. night's so you can see them 'in action' for yourself. Never once did I feel like I was trying to be 'sold'. To be honest, they do their thing up there on the microphone and it sells itself.

And, he specifically asked our group at the showcase if their were any specific nationalities that would need certain music of course people threw up their hands and he had lots to play for everyone. And, they're really nice on top of that! Hope that helps!

Oh and you can def. negotiate!

Dance Jock. We had Scott the owner MC our wedding. OMG people were talking about it for weeks we had the dance floor PACKED. I was at a party last weekend (mind u it has been almost a yr) and my DH aunts (the older ones they were his grandpas sisters) were raving about the music and how much fun they had. Even DHs grandpa said it was a great mix of music he said he never danced that much in a long time

I think they are a vendor here too. I cant remember but I absolutely love my DJ.

We had screens at the wedding and had a guy taking pics and posting them on the screens people went nuts. Plus what I did was I bought the pics from the DJ (i didnt put that in my package) uploaded them to shutterfly and printed them. They took alot of nice shots of our guests and in the thank you I sent I included pics the dj took of them. It went over well.

I posted about this the other day. I met with Xtreme Sounds and loved them. Check them out. They are one of the vendors on here too. They seemed to be pretty much everything your looking for. FM if you want the number.

My friend just used them and had Scott as her MC also and they really were awesome!!
