So, I have been tossing and turning over what to do for favors. FH and I are paying for our wedding and HM ourselves, so money is not free flowing. Originally, we were going to do scratch off lotto tickets along with a Quik Pick ticket. Total cost about $2 plus envelope and sticker to close envelope. I thought it was a cute idea, but figured I'd add candy or something to it.
Then I got the idea of doing coffee mugs. I'm all about getting favors that one could use- and not have our names or wedding date on them so people will actually use them! This is the design that I came up with... CLICK HERE! What do you think? Would you like this as a wedding favor if you received it? Would you use it? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!! TIA!
ETA: Our colors are pink, brown and white- hence the mug colors!
FOLLOW UP QUESTION: If I do go with the mugs, should I also buy the gift boxes from the company or should I wrap the mugs with tulle and a bow? I'm thinking of drunkin people transporting them after the reception is over, but also the fact that I want people to SEE them while they are on the tables!!

I would most definitly love that as a wedding favor! I actually used those three words on my cocktail napkins...very cute idea!

I love the mug idea. Very cute!!!! I would only get the boxes if they are cheap enough, if not then I would just do tulle.

we are going to do mugs as well........ I can relate = we are DRIVING ourselves NUTS with favor ideas-
I think we may do our wedding date on them, too
people can always use mugs- for anything...

Gabi -- I love the mug idea!! I would wrap them in cellophane wrap with the ribbon.
we've used this site a few times and they had great prices on ribbon and boxes if you need Bags & Bows online
I also like the scratch-offs but maybe do a candy bar with them. You can give each guest a chinese food container to fill with candy before they head home. You can personalize the containers with a monogrammed label that you print out.

I love mugs!! You can never have enough...my brother has one at his house from a friend's wedding back in the '90's that says 'I went to Karen & Dave's Wedding & all I got was this lousy mug'..and has their wedding date...i thought it was cute..and like i said..they still have it & use it!
As for the boxes...they might be a good idea just to keep them safe! Great idea for favors!!!

LOL! That is what Mooshyboo's mug favors say! Too cute! I think I am gonna stick with the simple Live, Love, Laugh though. I always hated personalized things- unless they were personalized for me!! Good to know that everyone thinks it will be used!
