Hi all! I'm doing things a little backwards... I've picked out the flowers that I want before I've picked out bridesmaids dresses. So, I need to pick out a color that will work with these color flowers. Can you help me??? I'm clueless!

black would be awesome
also a pale yellow, gold, light or dark blue (but not too dark) would be great
it's a cool tone so stay away from anything too warm (like deep yellow or orange)
how about pewter?

I would suggest, silver, lavander(lilac) Buttercream(light yellow) or maybe a lighter shade of pink. I would bring your pics to a bridal shop and see what compliments that color the best.

I love the color of the flowers! Since your wedding is in June, I'd go with one of the lighter color dresses - light pink, light blue, etc. Darker colors would go, but be out of season in my opinion.

Jan, if you're still interested. I'm using this bridesmaid dress and I'm using almost the same shade for the flowers as the dark pink ones on your first picture.

jen I do! My color theme is gold and white. I discovered that there are many many shades if gold though. I can't believe what some people consider gold. SO I changed it to champagne and white and pink. Just be warned whatever color you decide to theme your wedding on....there will be lots and lots of shades on. I know, for me personally, I have said...'That's close enough' plenty of times.

That's exactly what happened to me! I wanted a certain shade of pink, the next think I knew, I had different shades so I just worked with that...my only problem is I worked an this before I finalized my hall and despite booking more than a year in advance, I didn't get summer wedding that I wanted. My wedding date is actually the end of September...I just hope my colors which vary from light to dark shades of pink, dn't seem out of season.
