Help me plan a fun night with Future Step Daughter!

I am picking up my lovely from her mama in an hour and a half - FH is working until 9:30.. so we are going to have over 4 hours alone to hang out. Help me plan some fun stuff to do tonight.. Lordy knows that I am going to clean after she goes to bed ... but im talking like what to do...

I was gonna say cupcakes - either one is fun!!!

cookies are a good idea..

Im going to make the cookies .. that takes like a 1/2 hr at most.. any other ideas?

Cookies, coloring books and a make-over (light eye shadow, flavored lip balm).

Its a great idea! FH may kill me with the make over.. but coloring is a good idea.. i had envision a night of finger paint.. it kind of scared me LOL

Well if you make some kind of sugar cookie you could decorate them too... or make a gingerbread house!

Well if you make some kind of sugar cookie you could decorate them too... or make a gingerbread house!

I was going to suggest a gingerbread house! That is ALWAYS fun. I have fond memories making those when I was little.

FH's son is 4 - here are some activities we do indoors:

1) cooking - anything!

2) painting a white t-shirt. Just do this on top of a towel and put tin foil inside the shirt. Use markers (preferably those that don't wash off!!!) or fabric paints.

3) watch a disney movie.

4) when in doubt, go to barnes and nobles and browse thru the books and read some together.

5) This game called Hullabaloo - it seems totally ridiculous to me but kids love it.

HULLABALOO? What is that? I must know.. she beats me in EVERYTHING.. chutes and ladders, that flying monkeys game, hungry hungry hippos..

Ohhh, perfect time of year to make a gingerbread house She'll love it!
