It depends on the invites - different manufacturers take longer than others. It only took two weeks for mine to come in! But it took me 8 months to find them!!!

Also factor in time if you are getting the envelope calligraphed. That can take a couple weeks depending on who you use.

I think once your date and location is set, and you have found the ones you want, then you can order your invites. I placed my order this morning.

You really need to ask the stationary store. I was told that different invitations are shipped according to company. I know that Anna Griffin Invitations take a long time (so do custom invitations).

I mailed mine out at the 2 month mark.

I had William Arthur invites and the lady at the store said they do their orders extremely fast. I ordered on a Saturday. They sent me a proof on Monday. On Friday, they were ready for pickup.

I ordered mine about 5 months before the wedding date. This way I can start getting the envelopes ready.

I ordered mine online and they came in about a week! I also sent out my invites a bit early about 12 weeks before the wedding. I recommend it because we had so many people send them in really late.

It depends. We ordered our invites from Party City, which I recommend because the selection was great and everything is discounted. They took 2 weeks to come in, which was also great.

Leave enough time to reorder in case there are any errors.

Good Luck!
