I am an out of state bride and I am in NY now doing wedding planning.
I have 2 more weeks till i go back to CA and i still dont have hair and makeup artists.
can anyone recommend someone in Manhattan or Brooklyn only!
I am stressing out because I am not coming to NY again until the week of the wedding!!!
So i just have 2 weeks to do the rest of my planning!

I used for hair Stacy Pitt (she is from the Lower East Side) and for makeup Sally Duvall (she I think is from NJ but right near the City). Both did a great job (but pricey, not sure what your price range is but they have prices up on their websites I think).

you can try Salon Gio in Brooklyn. they do both hair & make-up.

What's your budget? Jill Harth seems really amazing and now works with a hairstylist .. I wanted to use her but can't afford it, I did just get her new pricing packages so FM me if you want more info. . I think I am using Sachiko Yanase. .she is affordable - (in queens but can go to brooklyn/manhatan prob) but does packages for minumum of 6 services (hair and/or makeup)

I am using her and I know she is booked most of september. I LOVE HER!!!!!!!!! I am having trials with some other girls and maybe one of them works out and I can let you know.

Try Salon Da Noi. Its a salon in Bay Ridge Brooklyn, they do both hair and makeup and do an amazing job!!!!!!!!! And not that expensive. Their within the norm...
I believe its Olympia for hair and all the MU artists are AMAZING! I know A LOT of girls who used them for their wedding! =)

I used Elena from the bridal touch.. She is located on LI but is willing to travel for the day of. She even mentioned she would travel to the Bronx for my trial but I am not sure if she charges extra for the trip. Pics are in my album.

Maureen and Claudia Pedala are in the city, if you go to them in the city it costs a lot less.
Or what about Pielo in brooklyn, my friend used them for her wedding and looked amazing. She's been going to them for years too and they always do a great job there
