I nam in need of help with the color of my invitations. I am clueless with this. I don't know what color to do it nor the ink.
This is the exact color of my BM dresses.
The color if my flowers are: pink, lavender and deep purple dahlias. I am also putting in pink parrot roses. I can't post a picture cause I can't find it online, but I saw it in the knot magazine and absolutly love it.
i'd do white or off-white invites with lavender text.
it lavender with white/off white text. if you need small accents i'd use light pink

I agree with the idea of off white invites but i would do deep purple ink because it might be easier to read.

I would say a cream invitation with a deep plum text. Lavendar will be too hard to read, especially in fancy font.

This sounds so pretty! Just another suggestion, check out myownfonts.com. I worked with a designer, but she told me to check out this site so she could get an idea of what my style was.

How about cream with sage green text and a lavender border....or white with black text layered over lavender cards.....I think the black and white would really make the lavender pop.
I contrasted the inside of my envelope with the invitation color....i was really happy with it.

I had the same colors for my BMs but I didn't have the invitation match it...it was just white/ivory with grey text. No one's going to look at the BMs the day of the wedding and say oh my god they don't match the invitation, so I wouldn't stress to much about it.
