Here is what we tipped: Matre d' - $520 ($3 pp) Hostess - $100 Videographer - $100 Assistant - $50 Photographer - $100 MC - $100 DJ - $50 Limo Driver - $50 each driver Flower Delivery Person - $40 Makeup Artist - $70 (she did 3 people) Hair Stylist - $20

Damn I forgot about the Dj too LOL! I'm paying $100 for my makeup and paying for my Mom $60 and the girls are paying $50 each. I dont think I will tip the day of because I tipped $25 at my trial plus the girls will be tipping...and the makeup girls runs her own company so its not like she has to share the $ she makes and she is making over $400 on that day alone.
I'm tipping my hair girl $25 for me, $25 for my sister.

I have a question for you girls, my photographer is charging us approx $6,000 for the day. She will come with an assistant. SHe owns the company herself. I feel that $6000 is enough and shouldnt have to tip her. What do you think? What about her assistant?

Limo = $235 going & $25 pick-up
MatraDe = $2 per head = $250 Bridal attendant = $100
Priest & Decan = $50 each = $100
Hair & Make-up =$30
Nails = $10
Not Tipping- Florist- reason being they charge a $50 delievery fee. So to me, that is their tip. Am I forgetting anyone????

This is what I will be doing:
M.C. = $100 D.J. = $ 50 Video = $100 Photo = $200 (I have 2 photograghers) Bridal Attendant = $100 Limos = $100 ($50 each) Church music = $100 (2 musicians @ $50 each) Maitre'D = $300.00
Oh man, that's $1,050. I think I need to sell blood or something.

I am still so puzzled by this tipping business! Most of the people I am using own their business- I heard when this is the case, you usually don't tip? It always also puzzles me how they add on an 18% grat at the hall, but you still have to tip over that. Where does that 18% go? Does anyone know?
(sorry, we are VERY POOR and bitter right now! ha.)
