I am trying so hard to get my back to clear...kind of stinks that it's broken out in the first place since it usually isn't for the most part.
I've tried Murad - no luck I've tried Clinique - no luck
(both recommended by you lovely ladies)
Now I'm going for a back treatment next week.
My dermo can't see me in time.
Anyone know how to speed things along???

Re: Help! My Back Is Still Breaking Out!
buy Lever 2000 Antibacterial Soap.
My back used to be horrible and my dermatologist suggest I use it.
if i use any other body was/soap, my back breaks out.

Neutrogena Oil Free w Salicyclic Acid - Body Wash. Don't over-scrub or you'll irritate it more. Put it on one of those backsponges etc... and use in the shower. Try to avoid wearing anything except 100% cotton tops too and don't use any other soap other than Dove - unscented. hope this helps.

I wouldn't try to much stuff in case of a reaction. I would go to another dermatologist or call your derm crying. If you are a patient he/she shoudl have the courtesy of making you an emergency appointment. In the mean time wash your back with a wash like Cetaphil. I worked for a dermatologist for awhile in college and he swore by it. Good luck!

yes! this stuff really works! are you sure the derm can't prescribe you the foam stuff in time? it cleared up my back in just a week or two.

I have to say, I used to agree until they added Vitamin E. Anything with that makes me break out. Even Dove. I LOVE Cetaphil antibacterial bar, it's wonderful and foams unlike the one in the bottle. It's gentle enough too. Or Aveeno foaming wash helps with redness. Good luck!!!

Neutrogena Oil Free w Salicyclic Acid - Body Wash works good. I use it on my arms when I break out from sweating due to my chef jackets at work.
