help my cat!! she has bubbles from her mouth!!

help my cat!! she has bubbles from her mouth!!

my cat has a tendency to escape...and DH has a tendency to leave the screen door open...so she got out...and shes deaf so its hard to find her...I found her in a neighbors back door...INSIDE...the dog had broke the screen and she got in...

when I finally got her the dog had peed on her and the cat was cowering in a corner...and I brought her home...shes been growling (I would be too) and she has spit bubbles from her mouth!!!!

does anyone know if this is something that I should take her to an E/R?

Take her the the vet. I am not a professional, but the first thing that reminds me of is distemper (rabies). Is she current with her shots? If she is, it's probably not that, but it's probably a good idea to have her checked out.

DH just got home...and he was a vet tech years ago...he thinks she learned a good lesson...he says that cats drool when they are stressed like that...

thank goodness she is up to date with her shots...(She got them in June)

shes relaxed...but still keeping her guard up...and not taking any crap from our dog...

I would take her to be on the safe side.

thanks for all the support...


Wu is feeling much better...She is even letting our dog come near her...She got special treats tonight and is slowly becoming her old self...



When they say curiosity killed the cat...they were right...this dog has chased our dog many times (into our backyard)...you should have seen her there squooshed btweent he couch and the glass back door...when I pulled her out she grabbed onto their leather sofa!!!


I will still mention it to vet this week, when I take the dog in for shots...
