easy solution.
get the traditional from the photog, then work together with your then-DH to create a magazine style photobook yourself, using a site like mypublisher or something.

yea that is what i was going to say. I am getting a digital album but it is in the traditional matting style because honestly like that. It looks cleaner to me. BUT I am doing a second album which I will lay out once I get my pics that will be a magazine style that I will give out as presents since in didn't get my parents an album.

Duet does both in the album. We were also in the same boat. I am going to go more with the traditional style but I am also going to add some magazine style for him. I personally like the way it looks with both. I think it's also nice when the middle page is magazine style.
