I got gel nails today at the salon and now my nails or sore and hurt! is this normal and when will it go away?!?!

It will go away in a day or so. I always hated when that happens. They might have filed your nail beds down too much- normally it shouln't hurt. Feel better!

One of the girls at my nail place files the top of my nails, and I feel like she makes the paper thin and it hurts

that happens because of the filing, your nails get sore. only happens when you get your nails done the first time, when you get them filled you won't experience this. Next time take some aspirin when you get home to avoid it. It *****, but goes away.

i'm usually better the next day. take some tylenol and running them under cold water helps for me.
