HELP...need a band for Oct. 11th 2002

Hi
I could use some help. Reading these boards has me a little freaked.
We are getting married on Oct. 11th of this year at the Vanderbilt.
We need to hire a band !!
Any suggestions?? It needs to be on the smaller side due to the size of the room and the number of guests we are having.

If anyone has been married at the Vanderbilt and has a suggestion, even if its not a band we would appreciate any leads!

Try Times Square Music I think it is timesquaremusic.com they also go out as a 5 pc that is what I am having. Check them out.

I would go to the wedding services page and on the top right click off Vendor info request and you can send 1 e-mail to all the vendors in the band category. This should save you some time and narrow down who is available. Good Luck.

I have sent out mini emails to a bunch of bands based on your suggestions and the board vendor list.
Some are available...now its time to listen and negotiate!!

I've been to a few shows and seen Faze 4 and Full House. They were both awesome, had the place rockin' and unfortunately were booked for my day already. You can give them a shot. I have numbers if you need...

Good Luck Carrie hope you can find someone band or DJ. I have seen the Full House add pop up on this screen before and you can listen to them on www.wedalert.com. This also a great site for picking out music.

Another vote for the Times Square Orchestra. We had them at our wedding. They are definitely worth a call to see if they are available.

I am actually in the process of booking my band myself for our March 2003 wedding.

We are in talks with a band Good Clean Fun right now, we went to go see them and I really liked them. And there price is less then alot of other bands, here is there website

switching to a DJ

Thanks again. We went last night and saw heart and soul. They were wonderful, but we decided that they are just too much band for our location (vanderbilt mansion). Although there are tons of bands that are available on our date, we have decided it would be best to go with a DJ. That way they are sure to fit in the corner of the room, and we can still have out table in front of the fireplace!!

I do thank you all for all of the leads...we checked them all out!!

Now, time to switch the search direction!!
no big deal, only like 40-something days to go!!
