Help! Need a photographer, getting married at Glen Island Harbour Club!

I have never done this before so hopefully I get some feedback!
Anyways, our reception is set a Glen Island Harbour Club for April 29th 2011 and I am looking for a good photographer that is resonably priced. Glen Island recommends using Regency Studios but I have heard lots of mixed reviews on them! Anyone have any suggestions? I live on Long island so the photographer doesnt have to be from the New Rochelle area. Thanks!!

go with park place photos (rickyrestiano.com) tell them Carmela sent you. They are amazing, well know, and very artistic.

We just got married at Glen Island in March, and believe me you do not have anything to worry about. Everyone including us, is still so amazed as to how amazing the food, SERVICE and attention was by the hall. Rocco was our BM and George was our captain. We met with Regency but they were way over our budget, they do beautiful work but we just couldn't do it. FM if you want some info on the vendors we used.

I would say Patken as well !! That is who we plan on using! Alot of our friends used them and there pics are amazing!!

My dad used Patken, he said they were ok, but didn't recommend for me to use them. I have def heard good things about them but since my dad was overly thrilled I will probably look elsewhere b/c I would like to use a photographer that has done weddings at GIHC too!

How come your dad did not recommend them? I did not book them yet but more than likely planning to. I just want to make sure they are a good photographer before i do. I really don't know of any others .
