help! need advice....

My fh just told me he is adding 4 guys to the bp with only 4 weeks left.... We decided from the beginning to keep our bridal party on the smaller scale with 5 guys & 5 girls cause we were trying to just keep costs low.. We were trying to stay within our budget and now he drops this on me... I think its a little unfair cause I can't start adding people last minute.. Ughh!! Whatever...

I guess all that matters is he happy. Such a groomzilla!! But seriously better not look stupid. & uneven in pics...

What would u ladies do?

I would just remind him of the original plan, and why you chose the 5 of each....and explain at this time it is not fair to you or to the agreement you already made. And they can be part of your day as guests.

I would be P.O'd about it myself. But that is just me

hmm why the last minute add ons? i mean we are having an uneven bridal party so i think that would be ok, the photographers know how to work with uneven numbers.

He said he always wanted these guys in it but I talked him out of it - which is not true. I just said its better to keep it smaller. Being we were on such a tight budget.... How many guys & girls do you have?

Wow, that is crazy. I have 3 bridesmaids and he has 4 groomsmen. Short and sweet. I did not want a large bridal party. Too many opinions to deal with and a smaller bridal party helps to keep the costs down somewhat.

If you can persuade him to have the 5 additional guys to be ushers would be better. Good luck.

I agree. We have 5 bridesmaids and 6 groomsmen. I think it is a big difference in pictures.

I can soooooooo relate to you on the Groomzilla part. My FH is being a groomzilla too and the worse part is he's in total denial about it. I would suggest ( if this is battle you can't win) just go with it. Have 2 GM per BM. And as far as the pictures, they can actually get fun and creative. I honestly don't think and uneven wedding party will mess up your pictures.
