HELP!! need advice on hairstyle & headpiece....

I picked up my headpiece a few weeks ago at Kleinfelds since it was in. And I fell in love with it all over again when I saw it. But now I am second guessing it. It was pricey, but not a custom order so I am hoping they'll let me return it if I decide not to use it. And since I still have a balance for my dress and veil if they give me a creidt I can just apply it to the my bill.

So here's the dilemma.......I just found a hairstyle I love but I am thinking it won't look right with a headpiece. When I had my make-up trial done with Mia she said it could work if I had my hair teased a little and lifted behind the the headpiece so it didn't look like the headpiece was just sitting on top of my head. What do you think?

To me, it depends on the look your going for....

Kepp the broach if you are going for an elegent look, and keep the headpiece if you're going for more of a princess look

I'd personally go with the broach, esp if you love that hairstyle, I love it that way too, I'm doing something similar!

She took the words out of my mouth. Maybe leave it in fates hands, see if your dress shop will take it back, if not keep it and use it. If they will, start the brooch hunt!

I love the broach.....I mean I love your headpiece too, it's beautiful BUT I think if you are in love with that hairstyle the broach really makes it classy!!

really, either option youll look fabulous. but i would try to return the headpeice and choose a brooch w/ that hair style.

can you wear your headpiece sideways near the back of your head? just a thought..and since you have it you can try it...here's a quick PhotShop i did of what i am talking about.

That's a great idea. I was also thinking to put it furthur back on your head so it looks more like the top of the back part instead of being on the top of your head. But I do think that you could tease the top more and it would look good. Let me try to find a pic for you...

ETA: Ok found a pic for the suggestion I had about putting it further back...

thanks for those photos -- I didn't even think to try it that way!! maybe I will try that -- I just called Kleinfelds and no luck -- my headpiece is final sale no lucj inreturning it, and my earings just came in too. And I was thinking of changing those too!! It's not good to be so indecisive, or order to early

I'll keep you posted with what I decide to do!!

Ditto! Personally i love the broach. Hopefully the shop will let you return the headpiece.
