The Alamo...its a mexican restaurant and a lot of fun! They have a Mariachi (sp?) band going around wearing sombreros and they carry around bottles of alcohol and force you to take shots! Its hilarious!

La Mela or Puglia's in Little Italy are always fun and accomdate big groups.

If you are looking for GREAT italian food in your own private room, try Trattoria Dopo Teatro in midtown (they have a website, i think). It won't be a crazy 'woo hoo! Batchelorette party!' kind of place, but you do have your own space to be loud in, as well as incredible food. Personally, I like Batch. parties that start nice and end crazy!

Try Sequioa's at the South Street Seaport, I had my friends bachelorette party there. They have private rooms!

Try divinebar on the east side, it's a wine bar and has lots of tapas-type food options!

TRY GUSTAVINO'S It is under the 59th street bridge and turns into a club at night. The food is GREAT!! you can get a set menu for $65 a head. They have a room on the side. I have done many dinners for my company there...

try MOD near columbus circle. They turn into a cluba t night, and the have a really cool menu. They serve fluffernutter sandwhiches and twinkie sushi and smores.
