HELP! Need shoes dyed ASAP, looking for a place to do it

hi everyone,

haven't posted on liw in a LONG time since i got married in '05... but i need help FAST and i'm hoping someone can help!

i am in a wedding on saturday 11/24 in new york, but i live in NC and got my shoes dyed there. picked them up on saturday and the color is REALLY off.

so now i am in new york for the week before this wedding and i need to get the shoes re-dyed.

any suggestions of where i can go on long island to get this done?

it mite be tough to find a place. i got all my shoes dyed at Sandy's in massapequa but they said it can take almost 2 weeks to make the dye.

my FSIl's father owns a shoe repair shop (also does dyeing) in Rockville Center...he's close to the main road that runs through town and the name of the shop is Chisto's Shoes. He should be able to help you out.

Are you in manhattan? If you are on Long Island, Kraft Shoes in Commack does a great job...I have my shoes there whenver I need to use dyables! good luck!
