HELP! need venue for october 12 2013!

Hi there-

My best friend had her wedding planned for October 12 2013 at a private residence in Hampton Bays. She was informed this week that they suffered about $200k in flood damage and found out that they should never have been holding weddings at the venue to begin with- so she needs to find a new venue. She is devastated as she'd hired all her vendors already (the caterer, tents, photographer, etc.) She was just about to put the stamps on her save the dates.

If anyone has any leads on a similar style venue- private residence on eastern long island with capacity for 125 -150 guests...please send them my way via this forum or directly to [email protected].

I appreciate any help you can offer!! I feel so terrible for my friend and really want to be her bridesmaid this year.

Try sunset harbour in patchogue. It's on the water and their prices are great. It's not a private residence it's a catering hall. I'm having my wedding there.

Thanks so much! I sent an email to jedidiah hawkins in to see if they can accommodate! I'll also check into sunset harbour! The reason I'm looking for a private residence type venue is that she has paid her caterer in full already, so her ideal venue would allow her to bring in the caterer. Really appreciate the recos!! At least this didn't happen 2 months before the wedding!

What about a winery? We looked at Palmer Vinyards and loved it, but after tents and catering it would have been too much.

I do like the vineyard idea! Her concern was the site fee. Would you happen to remember what the site fee was for Palmer? tx!

palmer is the cheapest site fee at 2500 from my research (over a year ago) but they can only fit 100 on the patio so if it rains... ur kind of screwed....

I think it was about $3k for a Friday when I went in sept. if you already have a tent then you should be fine. The coordinator was really nice. Check them out on fb, I think they have a wedding album

Contact Meaghan Sinisi, the owner of Fruition Events. She's a vendor on here and my DOC. She has a lot of experience in running Hampton-style weddings. Tell her Cheryl sent you. She's been nothing but wonderful! Let me know how it goes! HTH
