Help, non flower centerpieces

Hey ladies i am looking for non flower centerpieces. I have been toying with the idea of fish bowls with fish in them or cylinders witha fish in it. Both would have small candles around them. Can you posts any picture ideas for me??? Id appreciate it so much!

Re: Help, non flower centerpieces

I really like the fish bowl idea. Are you doing a seashore type theme? I think one of the bridal magazines recently featured a wedding with them, but I cannot remember which magazine. I will rack my brain and try to remember...

Make sure you know what you will do with the fish afterwards.

Re: Help, non flower centerpieces

I think the fish idea would look awesome, and I hate to be a downer on this idea, but it might be a lot more trouble than you want. My cousin wanted to do this and after looking into it, she decided against it because the hall would not accept any responsibility for the fish- keeping, placing, or replacing them if they died. Unless you have a very reliable person to set them up for you, it could be a problem.

If you can pull it off, though, I think it would be unforgettable! My sister brought home C-pieces from some function that had fish and they rocked. It was a vase with water and a plant in it and a single fish was swimming around the bottom. It was so unique. If you FM me, I will try to find out what kind of fish it is and the type of plant they used.

They are beta fish. Thats whats used most often due to the colors.
