Help on deciding...

Hi!

I'm in desperate need of a photographer & videographer. My FH and I are from Queens and our wedding will be in Franklin Square LI. I've heard Capture the Moment is fantastic but it's a bit of drive for us! Does anyone recommend others that might be closer to NYC?

Our wedding is in FSQ as well.(st Catherine's) Our reception is in Commack. Capture the moment is well worth the drive. Fm me for details. There's tons of weddings things you can do to make a day of it. I can list a few vendors from there.(Suffolk county area)

FH and I are from Queens as well and getting married in Nassau. I have heard about some great photographers on the board . . . we booked with CTM and we feel they are totally worth the drive out to Suffolk. We went there for the initial meeting-- so only had to drive out there once so far; I'm not sure if we have to make one more trip to pick up photos after wedding. They mailed us our engagement shoot DVD.

I personally would make the drive and set up an appointment with Lighthouse and Capture the moment the say day if possible - I feel both are worth meeting with. We had a 5:30 appt with Lighthouse and an 8pm with CTM - (we could have done 7/7:30 but that's all they had) both were a drive for us so we got them out of the way in one shot, but I wouldn't rule out a potentially good match for you guys based on distance, besides the appt mostly everything else is done via mail, phone, e-mail etc. so it's not like you have to go out there often.
