Well the priest told me last night to contact the organist directly to discuss the music selection. When I called, he asked who this was, so I said my first name & before I could go further, he was yelling at me 'if you don't identify yourself further I'm hanging up' So I was about to say my last name & why I was calling, and he hung up!! Thinking maybe I got the wrong number, I called back - well it was him again. This time he yelled first, then allowed me to finally mention how the church referred me, he calmed down & explained that he has been having 'issues' with callers. He apologized left & right, but I feel very uncomfortable now & am afraid to use him for the wedding. What do I do??? I don't think I have a choice - all I want is an organist. I called the church & the priest is going to get back to me. The girl who answered said she was so sorry he treated me that way & that he has 'been acting weird lately'. Yikes, great!!!

I wouldn't worry about it. like he said, he was having issues with other callers. give him a 2nd chance.

OMG, he sounds a little demented. Can you get someone else or is it too late. If not, I'm sure it will be ok for the wedding. Good luck

Awww, he probably just had some problem caller. I've freaked out like that before on the phone, when people call and hang up, over and over... he probably just didn't hear you the first time you said your name. I wouldn't worry about it.

Well he sounds like quite a character. Hopefully he was just having a bad day. I wouldn't be too worried.

Well, see if you can find out more. You never know--someone at a church might be getting some pretty bad 'hate calls' from people who are opposed to the church's beliefs.
