Help please!!!!

My FH has a car that is not registered or insured. He tried selling it but no one wanted it (tells you something huh?) but he actually wants to keep it to work on it. He has it right now at a friends' house in their driveway. But the friends are moving next weekend. My dad is letting FH move the car to his driveway. We're going away next weekend so FH has to move it this weekend (he should have done this MONTHS ago but hey why listen to me when I said 'do it now before it's too late and you run into trouble trying to do it'. However we need one of those auto transport things that U-Haul rents out to move it.

Problem is, no one in the Bronx or Westchester has an auto-transport thing to rent out. Apparently they are in very high demand. Ryder doesn't rent them out.

Can anyone suggest anything/any company we can use? Tow trucks would be too expensive, we've looked into that already.

We would do that but God forbid he was involved in an accident (we're going from Yonkers to Long Island - over Throggs Neck bridge and on parkways) so I'd rather not chance it. Otherwise we'd do it. We did it moving it from his old apartment to his friend's driveway but he's 10 minutes away.
