Okay, after visiting Chateau La Mer, Crescent Beach Club, Venetian Yacht Club, Jericho Terrace, Swan Club and Valley Regency (NJ); I have narrowed it down to Chateau La Mer and Swan Club. My FI has left it up to me to choose the site for our reception and ceremony, and all he is concerned about is whether or not the VENUE has good FOOD and good LIQUOR. I am torn between having my ceremony at Westbury Gardens followed by my reception at Chateau La Mer versus having everything at the Swan Club. Ironically I have a tasting at both places tomorrow, and any feedback you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

I like the way the swan club looks but I personally booked at the Coral house. I definitely would consider the swan club.

I definitely like Chateau La Mer better than the Swan Club! If the Crescent Beach Club wasn't always my DREAM place, CLM would have definitely been in my top 3 (with the Riviera and Lombardi's on the Sound).

I voted Swan Club, but I am biased too ! ! !
Fh's friend's sister got married there last year and Fh's friend said everything was GREAT. That was the main reason we went to look there. Fh's friend is sorta picky about food so for him to rave the way he did about how great the food was and how nice everything was there says something in my book ! ! !
Also, everyone that asks me 'where is your reception' and I tell them swan club, 9 out of 10 people have something good to say, and the other 1 either hasn't been there in a long time or has never been there. . . .

Definetely Biased, but the swan club is gorgeous. Everyone I tell goes, OMG i just love that place. One tip though, if you have the reception at the swan club, and you do your ceremony there as well don't use the Garden Room. The cocktail hour for that room is the same room you have your ceremony and the set up/ take down isn't that great. Good Luck

Swan Club. It's underrated...the service is amazing, the food is to die for and the grounds are so beautiful. You won't have to have a separate photo location for all the portraits and shots you want because it's spacious and full of gorgeous landscaping!

i woukd have to say chateau la mer probably b/c i'm getting married there but the view is gorgeous & the food is so amazing- i know people who have gotten married there & said how everything there was perfect from the moment they stepped out of the limo until the time they left. your guests will rave all about the food. u really get so much for your money!!!
