Help please !!!

Firstly sorry this is so long

Travelling from the UK on 17th of March as we decided to get married in New York - in secret - on the 20th of March this year. With seven children between us and assorted relatives it would just have been too much hassle otherwise and we want it to be just about us !!!!!!!

Anyway now panicking - can anyone help with a couple of queries.

How long will we have to wait to get married at City Hall Manhattan - ideally we want to get married around 2pm.

How easy will it be to find a witness ?

Nearly there with everything else - just hope the dress travels ok - gulp !

I would contact city hall directly and ask them that. I know on LI you have to obtain a marriage license 24 hours before getting married.... I don't know if that rule extends to city hall weddings....

The last thing you want to do is come here and get turned away!

that's the NYC marriage bureau. you have to wait 24 hours after getting the license.

as for a witness i'm sure you can just grab a random person waiting to marry for one!
