FH and I would like to go and meet with a couple of photographers, yet I am clueless about what I should be asking and looking for!!!
Does someone have a list of questions that I should be asking?? If so, please share.
I'm might sound really dumb, but what is the difference between photojournal and traditional?
To be really frank, this is the only vendor we are dreading to meet with since we are both completely clueless when it comes to photography and video
Sorry to be a pain, but any help I can get on this would greatly be appreciated :)

Re: Help Please
Make sure you get the rights to your photos. This is key so you can make prints without having to go through them afterwards. Number of hours Number of photogs Number of proofs Number and size of enlargements Size of album (measurement and number of pics) Size of parent albums (measurement and number of pics) Thank yous Cost of extra prints Cost of overtime Cost of extra locations Proofs on hard copy and/or disc? Proofs online? The total charge for services w/ tax Payment plan - what is do when
Traditional pictures are posed. Photojournalistic are more like candids.

Make sure there are no watermarks on your photos either. Make sure that you get the digital files as well (if you wish, some include in their pkg but some you pay extra for that) If you are getting a second person the day of confirm whether they are a second photographer, asssitant photographer or just a assistant. How long can you expect before you get your pics. Will there be online posting so family and friends can order pictures. If it's important to you: do they take lists of must take photos. Ask to see albums of weddings from start to finish. This is important because lots of times photographers will show you only the best of their pictures. It's important to see the in between, I think.
