Help please - Do I or don't I...

Get a purse for the wedding?

I'm thinking tissues, lipstick.

I wasn't going to, but my mom has this silver sparkly thing that will look great with my dress. I was going to have my sister hold on to the things I need, but it's easier if I just have it ... I guess I will keep it on the sweetheart table.

I didn't have one. I kept everything upstairs in the bridal suite and my attendant would get I needed as necessary.

We finished all of our photos before the cocktail hour so I reapplied makeup and perfume before the photos, cocktails and our entrance into the reception. I might have reapplied once or twice during the reception as well - can't remember.

I had one and left it in the suite - never needed it. Unless you think your going to be applying makeup all night (i am not that type of person) really didn't need it.

i didn't use one. i had all my stuff from the hotel in the bridal suite, and that included my everyday bag, so everything i needed was in the bridal suite.

i definitely can't be without a purse. Even though i probably won't even need it, I'm still gonna have one. Just for basics, like lipstick (or tampons - God forbid). I'm not even worried about it matching or looking good. it's not like i'm gonna have it hooked around my shoulder all night. My mom will probably just bring it in for me. Or if not, i'll just have one of my sisters keep a few of my little extra things in HER purse, rather than me having one. I didn't really decide yet. I guess either way!!

I didn't use a bag... I wouldn't have needed it anyway. I gave my lipgloss to my sister to hold on to and anything else I needed one of the BMs had and all of that was left in the bridal suite... I went down there once thru out the whole night for a touch up... after that, it didn't even occur to me to go re-apply lip gloss or fix my makeup.

if u dont have one or have one to borrow...i wouldnt really go out and buy one....have someone else carry your stuff....give your lipstick to fh (if the tux has an inner pocket), your mom/moh etc.

i wanted to put my camera in it and just like tissues, liptick. but then im thinking ill probably end up loosing the bag or misplacing it somewhere because i definately will not be holding it all night like i normally do.

I didn't bring one and didn't need it b/c all my stuff was up in the bridal suite. My bridal attendant actually held on to my lipstick for me so she could give it to me before we took pics at various times... of course she didn't do that at all so it was useless but it was a good idea at the time LOL!

I didn't use one. The little things that I needed my mom had and then my BA would give me as needed.

didnt really need it, i had everything in the suite, my BMs just ran and got me extra gloss and the attendant had tissues for me.

Thank you ladies! It would be hard for me not to have one at all...My everyday bag is on the large side and heavy. I'm a 'just in case' kind of girl.

I am too - but you should keep all the just in case stuff in the bridal suite. I would put lipstick, tissues, powder, maybe some oil-blotting-sheets, and ... tampons or pads if you happen to be suffering from that disaster later in the week That's all you need in your purse, really! oh, and a camera! I am definitely bringing my digital. May not use it, but I will have it with me.

So I thought I wouldn't need one and didn't bring one.....

BUT....

I had some stuff that I needed w/ me....Cell, make-up, some $.....wound up throwing it all in a plastic MAC bag! I wished a had a purse with me instead!

I had a very small little purse that I kept in the bridal suite... just my lipstick and pressed powder for those shiny moments! I just ran in there every hour or so to touch up.
