Help please, good resource for nice photo albums?

Help please, good resource for nice photo albums?

We got our proofs yesterday and the price list for the photo albums.

WHOA. Pricey.

Now we've decided to do our own and our parent's albums ourselves, since we have all the original digital files.

I've been to Papyrus in Roosevelt Field and assorted photo labs, even Michaels. Nothing really jumped out at me.

Does anyone have suggestions on some nice, formal, good quality photo albums suitable for this?

Thanks in advance.

Are you talking about a printed album made out of your proofs?

I will be using Shutterfly. There are others too. Snapfish, etc..

Sorry, I should have been more specific.

I mean physical photo albums that you put your prints in yourself. We'll be able to print all the photos but want to insert them ourselves into a nice album.

OK... you are talking about just printing the photos and then putting them in a 'regular' album?

You can get albums at target, AC Moore (with coupons). Sometimes Marshalls, TJ Maxx carry some too.

I'd search Michaels/ac Moore and even target...you never know what you'll find...target has deals with the 'better' companies...when i needed more paper for my menus and programs (i was using an invitation kit), staples was out...they had them at target...same brand and everything..only a subtle difference that now that they've all been through the printer and such, i can't even spot! in fact, the target ones seemed cut better (the edges were smoother when the stacks were next to each other.)

anyway...just look around. try craft stores. you never know where you'll find the best ones.

You could always take a plain one and cover it with a layer of polyfill and some nice fabric.

I used snapfish and they did a terrefic job, although not as nice as the pros.
