HELP PLEASE! I haven't stressed too much.....but now...

I'm working on direction cards and I can't use my Church or my reception cards because they are all using major roads. Unfortunately, the easiest way to get from my church in East northport to Harrison House in Glen Cove is taking 25A and then Route 107, both roads are completely confusing and windy and I'm so stressed out that people will get lost or at the very least completely curse us for having our sites so far a part. I was thinking about doing transportation for my guests but how do you get transportation ahead of time when you don't know how many people would use it? Like I probably wouldn't know how many people need transportation until my RSVP date? Anyone else in this situation

I got lost in that area when i was going to look at the Metropolitan... It turned out ok though, it was only for a sec. then I figured it out... Don't stress too much, people at gas stations can be very helpful...

SOme thoughts that we considered (we ended up having buses from classictrans, we informed people ahead of time and just assumed pretty correctly that everyone at the hotel would be taking them....maybe you could put balloons up at tricky places if possible or have someone who knows the area lead a caravan.

I've been to plenty of weddings with bad directions and somehow we made it (after stoppping to ask or getting lost)...just make the best directions you can and it will work out. GL!

can't you just take the 495 to glen cove rd north... then then when you hit the fire house make a right... and i think its the 2-3 light you make a left onto the st of harrison house is on.

What about putting mapquest directions in as the directional cards. Just a thought.

That's what I would suggest. Take Deer Park Avenue 231 to Northern State to Rt. 107. They pretty much just stay on that from there.

Actually Northern State is closer to the church and the reception hall. Both are north. I grew up in Northport, FM me with any questions.

My wedding is in the middle of nowhere, so I understand. We just sent out invitations and I made direction cards to go with them, but I was pretty specific as to how to get to this place. However, people these days can mapquest the directions if they cant seem to figure yours out. If people really dont understand, they will call you. I am not stressing about it.

I gave out the directional cards from the Harrison House and everyone was fine. Try not to stress too much. Most people will MapQuest or Expedia anyway!
