btw- when you call salons to make appointments- maybe ask them if they have a selection of non-strapless dresses. I went to Davids bridal with a friend and we asked for strapless and they only had one at the time and it was ugly. So it was sort of a waste.

if you go to www.brides.com you can search by sleeve length and color and neckline etc. And they say who the designers are and the price range.

yep you can alwasy get cap sleeves but that wasn't going to work for me because the caps made my arms look heavier so i made a jacket up but you can always add straps to a strapless dress (most of the time). Alfred angelo has a few sleeved dresses.

I had the same issue. I found this jacket to wear with my dress though. I figured it was light weight, didn't have too mcuh going on and it went with the dress. Maybe you can do something like that if you can't find anything with sleeves that you like.
