Hi all - I got my invitations today and they are absolutely beautiful and I am thrilled! One small problem - On the reception cards, I had them put 'Reception to follow at JA's on the water etc at 12:30 in the afternoon' (the cocktail hour is at 12:30 and the reception is at 1:30 - I needed to save space and figured kill two birds with one stone and tell them the whole shebang starts at 12:30) FH goes 'What?!? You didn't tell them that the cocktail was at 12:30 and the reception was at 1:30?!' People will think the cocktail is at 11:30 now and will get there too early!' Mind you - my invitations state that we are having a mass at 11:00 am (and dont get me started on people who blow off the religious part and only show up for the party) so I figured once they see that they will understand cocktail is at 12:30. Should I reprint them?

Re: Help -Reception Cards
Personally, I think it's fine. I would just assume that the party (including the cocktail hour) will begin at 12:30, since the ceremony is at 11am. How much is it to reprint them? I wouldn't spend the $ to do it over, but if your FH feels strongly about it and it's not that expensive, then maybe you should re do them.
By the way, Congrats on your addicted status!!

Re: Help -Reception Cards
People would know that the cocktail hour starts at 12:30. Your okay with the above wording.

Re: Help -Reception Cards
I think people would think it starts at 12:30, so it is fine. They should know the cocktail hour is the first part of the reception.

Re: Help -Reception Cards
Mine are the same - people will know that the cocktail hour is the beginning of the reception, don't worry about it!
