help - rehearsal dinner

im so back & forth about the RD

it looks like more people will be in town wed PM than expected (getting final #s next week)

we wanted to have italian at my moms, but now we are worried if it rains we wont have space!

but we also dont want to spend a lot of $$

Any ideas for reasonably priced restaurants (we dont care if it's a set menu/ etc) in the northport/ ENPT/ commack area....

It is small they haven't expanded it, I had my mothers 55th bday there 10 years ago and we had the whole place, it fit about 50 people comfortably

Changing Times Pub? Torcellos will be open with new renovations in September, maybe they cater? Also, Robkes Country Inn?

we looked into those, since ENpt changing times isnt as nice as the newer ones... its so bar-like, i think it's getting the ax. torcellos i was nervous about timing. where's robkes? 25A ? i forget.

we may go with orlandos seems like the cheapest sit down.

or applebees. no joke. is that ghetto? we figured we'd type up a little menu and get drink specials... if they can section off an area and we think it will work we may do this....

Lauren, I'm pretty sure the Applebees on Deer Park avenue in North Babylon has a separate party room. You may want to check it out.

Have you tried the Bonwit Inn in Commack? They would be first choice for my RD if my venue wasn't out east. I know several people who had their rehearsal dinners there. http://www.bonwitinn.com/
