Ok. I loved my dress but it was in ivory. We are having a black and white wedding so I wanted it to be white-white. So I ordered it in white without seeing it. My fitting is on the 30th and will be the first time I will be able to see it... but I already need my shoes for the fitting. Now... all the shoes I love are in IVORY!! Is it horrible to have a bright white dress and ivory shoes?? What should I do??

Re: HELP!! (Shoes and Dress)
although it's unlikely people would see your shoes (much), i'd still stay away from ivory.
can you find the shoes you like online in white? or how about silver shoes?

Re: HELP!! (Shoes and Dress)
I wouldn't do it. Your shoes will look discolored. There are plenty of nice white shoes - just keep searching!
They're very nice! If you can return them - give them a try. Just a warning, I got a shoes with a knot on the top similar to that flower. Paid $350 for them...and I can't wear them because the knot gets caught on the dress every time I take a step. I have a sheath gown which makes it worse - but it's something to think about no matter what style gown you have.
if it still looks this white in person, then go for it ... but i'd compare it to a white sheet of paper or something first you can always buy this pair online and return in store if it doesn't look right (if it's online only)
Trust me, they look white now but against white-white they will look dingy.

Honestly, they are your feet. You should wear what you want.
