HELP: Someone stole my last pay stub (earnings statement)

I can't prove anything, but we have a temp in the office who I STRONGLY believe attempted to steal my purse a few weeks ago.

I was out of the office last time we were paid. I have direct deposit and the funds are in my account. But, the idiot office manager left my earnings statement on top of my desk and now it's gone.

My name, address, social security number, and salary are on the earnings statement.

Is this enough info to enable someone to steal my identity?

I don't know...but you should contact the credit bureaus and ask them to put an identity theft alert on, so that you will be notified if anyone wants to open an account or take out a loan in your name. (My student loan company had a security 'problem' a few months ago, and that's what they had us all do).

You should also contact HR, and ask them to stop printing your SS number on your pay stubs - on ours I think they may print only a partial number, and then they have given us another 'Employee ID number' which we use in place of ss.
