Help!! Songs etc...

Hi I am having my Sunday night freak out. I am covered in bird seed (not a weird sex thing, no rice throwing outside my church)and wrapping paper (don't ask ) I am a little under 2 weeks away from the wedding and feeling like I am never going to be done with everything! I am hoping that you guys might be able to suggest a song I could use to dance with my brother? My father passed away a few years ago, so he is 'acting Dad' for the day. Thanks for your help and inspiration. Oh and anybody else HATE writing thank you notes? It is impossible for me to come up with anything intelligent to say in these things, I think this could be considered torture in some countries.

I am a month away and can only imagine how you are feeling. It seems like I am never going to be done with things left to do. Good luck! Yes, getting my shower thanks you's out seemed endless. I love sending cards to people, but when you have so many it can get crazy!

I purchased a thank you book from Borders. It really helps me come up with orginal things to write.
Take one day at a time and make to-do lists for each week. Breath, relax and make some 'off' time for yourself too.

Mrs2B...let me tell you...I was working on last minute things the night before my wedding...the things that need to be done...and the things you want to get done...WILL...I don't know how...but they just do...

We had a last minute problem with our mother/son song...DH was supposed to dance with his mother to one of his father's recordings(he passed away before he was born), nut MIL forgot to bring the CD from AZ...so we went on a song search and found the perfect one for them...and I think it might suit you...

In my life by the Beatles...

There are places I'll remember
in my life, though some have changed,
Some forever, not for better,
Some have gone and some remain.

All these places had their moments
With lovers and friends I still can recall.
Some are dead and some are living,
In my life I've loved them all.

But of all these friends and lovers,
There's no one compares with you,
And these mem'ies lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new.

Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before,
I know I'll often stop and think about them,
In my life I'll love you more.

Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before,
I know I'll often stop and think about them,
In my life I'll love you more.
In my life I'll love you more.

hope its helpful!!

I love that Beatles tune -- it would be a close second for me. I'm using Lullabye. When I first heard it I was close to tears because it was so perfect for us (Grew up on the water -- had a rough relationshipwith my Dad for a while before we worked things out -- plus my Dad is very ill)

Lullabye (Goodnight, My Angel) (Billy Joel)

Goodnight, my angel
Time to close your eyes
And save these questions for another day
I think I know what you've been asking me
I think you know what I've been trying to say

I promised I would never leave you
And you should always know
Wherever you may go
No matter where you are
I never will be far away

Goodnight, my angel
Now it's time to sleep
And still so many things I want to say
Remember all the songs you sang for me
WHen we went sailing on an emerald bay
ANd like a boat out on the ocean
I'm rocking you to sleep
THe water's dark
And deep inside this ancient heart
You'll always be a part of me

Goodnight, my angel
Now it's time to dream
And dream how wonderful your life will be
Someday your child may cry
And if you sing this lullabye
Then in your heart
There will always be a part of me

Someday we'll all be gone
But lullabyes go on and on...
They never die
That's how you
And I
Will be
