I have been traveling a lot for work lately and have been swamped so my BM who are the sweetest girls got together on their own to shop for a BM dress b/c they didn't want my to worry.
I love the style of the dress they picked but I wanted a blue BM dress and the dress only comes in Indigo. I'm worried that it will be to dark. I have no right to complain b/c my BMs have been so helpful and wonderful but I'm not in love with the color. Indigo is the closest I can get to blue.
Does any have any pictures of a Bill Levkoff dress in Indigo. A real picture not what's not the website. I really wanted a lighter blue for a summer wedding but the girls swear the dress is flattering on all of them?
Any opinions Picture attached is the style, not the color, I can't figure out how to attach it. http://www.billlevkoff.com/collections/index.asp?dress=889

Re: Help (sorry so long)
Thanks ladies for all your encouraging words. I think that I will agree to the dress. Especially since my BM have been so helpful in trying to get all the planning done. So what if the color is darker than I wanted....I love my dress and my BM should be comfirtable and love what they are wearing.

Re: Help (sorry so long)
I like that dress a lot. And my BMs are in navy, so I'm probably not the best person to ask! Did you want a sky blue, or more like a royal? I think if you wanted royal, the indigo isn't that far off. And if they all liked it, that would be an easy solution. However, if you wanted more of a light blue or a sky blue, maybe you could get them to keep looking. How many dresses did they try on? Do you know?

I think dark colors like Navy or Indigo are quite striking for the summer.

Re: Help (sorry so long)
The girls were at the store for hours. They called we when they narrowed it down. They tried on at least 12 dresses and I feel terrible asking them to try on more. I would love a royal blue color or lighter - not too light b/c the girls don't want baby blue b/c they fear they won't have time to tan. I appreciate your opinions and although I'm not crazy about the color, I agree that it might look lighter in the pictures

Re: Help (sorry so long)
the first bride of 2007 used indigo - check out these pics!
i love that color! I was using a navy but i was scared it would come out black in pics - so i am glad i saw this color . . . it has a purple hint to it but i still love it!
