help- taking out extensions

i feel like a dumbass...how do i get these out??? im trying to unclip them but it's like pulling my hair and hurting...my hair is sooooo thick...it's really hard....*** do i do?

They were braided and then clipped in...i was almost crying trying to get it out hahahha...dino just got them out for me...ouchhh that shittttt hurt!
