Okay. I'm toying with the idea of a destination wedding again, lol! I just can't make up my mind! What are some of the best places to have a destination wedding? It will most likely only be FH and I and maybe a few guests probably under 10 people. We were thinking Puerto Rico because his grandma, grandpa and handicapped aunt live there and they mean a lot to him. It would be very hard for his aunt to travel, she's in a wheel chair. Then maybe we could throw a party at a VFW or cheaper reception hall in the off season to celebrate with the people who couldn't make it. Then maybe we could have the DJ show our ceremony video and maybe flash pic s taken at our ceremony on a tv screen?? What do you guys think?? Would it work out cheaper this way???

Re: Help.. thinking about a destination wedding again
My grandma's friend was telling me about a wedding she went to. The bride and groom and two witnesses flew down to Hawaii and they got married there on the beach, stayed for a 10 day honeymoon then came back and had a party to celebrate at a RH and invited everyone she normally would have and the beginning of the wedding started off with a video of their entire ceremony on a big screen tv and then the DJ introduced them. The bride had said that it was much cheaper doing it that way and she was able to get married on the beach in the winter like she had wanted.
