HELP! Valentine's Day Themed Engagement Party Ideas!!
Hello Ladies.
My boyfriend just took me to pick out my engagement ring, finally after 5 years, and he said we will be engaged sometime by Christmas so I thought it would be cute to have the engagement party close to Valentine's Day and have that theme.
But I have no clue where to start so if anyone has pictures or links or ideas, please please help.
Thank you so much. Christina <3

I think this is a great idea. I personally wouldn't go to theme-like (cupid cut outs, etc.). I might just try and create a romantic setting using valentine's day colors (pinks, purples, reds) and pick up vintage accents to set the tone (antique looking candelsticks, trinkets, picture frames with black and white photos of you two) to create a romantic atmosphere. HTH!

I would definitely say lots of chocolate!
we went to an eparty on V-Day this year and spent most of the night at the chocolate table. It's very fitting for Valentines day and also its delicious

Awwww cute! My FH proposed on Dec 20, and we actually had our e-party the day after valentine's day....not even on purpose though, lol.
Again, not because it was v-day, but I gave out chocolate truffles in plastic jars with red ribbons as my favors. I just liked them as favors, but I guess they could go well with a v-day theme.
Just one piece of advice - if you plan to have the party right around V-day, make sure you give enough notice to people. We had two couples that couldn't come because they were going away for the weekend for v-day.
