I would also be looking for a different venue if this is how I were treated. I had someone a bit rude at a location and I didn't even consider that place based on that premise alone.

They should be catering to you right now because they want your business. They should not be acting like they are doing you a favor. The headaches will get much greater once your day approaches and then it could be a serious problem.

Even though you you are planning from a distance, the wedding sitesandservices can help you narrow it down to a few other places.

Think about it......

There are so many halls on LI where you will be treated like you should be. Maybe if the hall knows you are thinking of going elsewhere they will change there tune. but I would be nervous if this is how they are when they are trying to get your business. How much attention do you think they will give you once they have your business. Just a couple of things to think about. Good Luck. I hope it all works out.

I had a similar experience at a hall and that totally turned me off from the place. I wouldn't want to have to deal with that in the future. good luck!

My mom said wait till Monday, that's when she said she would send the contract. It's going to kill me to wait that long. But, I will to keep that place! Wish me luck

I totally understand how you feel. I had to get rid of my photographer company because of this. This is my biggest issue, I paid you to render a service, which includes customer service and I expect that if you cannot provider that o me I will need to take my business elsewhere. I think because they feel as though your wedding is not so close that they can just brush you off when they feel.
