Re: help - wedding gown doubts
I searched for my dress in September and it came in January...For a while I went back and fourth in my head b/c it was the first one that I tried on but I loved it. Within that four months that it took the dress to come in, I went to RK and Macy's to try on more dresses and when I did, those other ones couldn't compare to the first one. It was just a feeling I had. My only advice that I can offer is that when you pick a dress there is a reason why you fell in love with it and sometimes you can loose sight of it during the waiting process. Take some time and think about it.

I say don't order it then. You don't want to end up with a dress you don't love. Personally I would forfeit the 500 bucks...

Hi! I actually haven't posted in awhile, but this defenitly sparked me to start posting again (just have been so busy with work lately)! I can defenitly relate to how you are feeling, and from what I have read...it's quite normal to feel this way after making one of the most important decisions for the bride, her dress! After the day I decided on my dress with my mom, I went home that night so excited and a day or two later I started to think...did I make the right decision, should I have waited and looked around longer? This was the third store, and between the three stores I tried on many many dresses....this dress was the last one and once I put it on, I fell in love with it and didn't want to take it off. The feeling didn't come close to any of the other dresses. Thats when I knew this was it! I didn't want to look anymore...I felt like a princess and I still remember the feeling. Even though I loved it, I did start to think and obsess...I even started looking through magazines, past brides...and I then realized how much I do love my dress, and I just thought of how I felt in the dress. Just try to remember how you felt in the dress. So, maybe go back to the store and try the dress on again...and try on others too...just so you can compare, and in the end you may just be loving your dress, and it will give you the peace of mind that you found your perfect dress. If you know that this isn't your dress, then I would defenitly cancel and try to get your money back. They should be willing to work with you, especially if they want your business...and its just been a day, I would defenitly go down and talk to them -if you decide to cancel. Best of Luck!!!

Are you able to sleep on it? Maybe let the dress settle a little in your brain. In the morning, you maybe less confused and more able to discover what you really want.

its never good to have doubts so i would definatly go with ur gut! its the one thing that you will get to wear once in your life and you rself has to be happy with it! when i was originally suppose to be married last year i kept going back to the bridal place to try it on almost everyday cause i was having strange nightmares bout it not fitting or something going wrong with it
