I was just wondering. I was planning on not having any children at the wedding but I am inviting my niece who has a 3 yr old boy, who BTW is soooooo cute, now what do I do. I said he could be the ring bearer but he would be the only kid there. I think it would put a damper on the whole event for my nieces and sister since they would have to watch him.
What do I tell her? Should I say that for her to have a better time maybe Aidan would be best to stay with his father? They are driving down from virginia the Thursday before the wedding.

Maybe you can ask her to have aidan there for the ceremony but ask if his father can pick him up after the ceremony. He may get bored also with no other kids there to play with, and anyone who has kids knows you can't take your eyes off them for one second so she won't be able to relax if she's chasing after him.

The problem is that they are coming from virgina and the father will not be there. The only people to watch him are my sis and my nieces.

I dont really think you can invite him to be a part of the ceremony and then not have him at the wedding. I mean its totally up to you...if you think it would put a damper on your niece's night then why not just ask her how she feels and let her decide?

i would ask her what she wants...say if u dont mind watching him we would love him to be a part of the ceremony..she might want a night out without him..but do what u want to do dont worrry if guests will be putt off by a child its ur wedding..jmo
