HELP! What do I need before visiting a florist??

Cecily ... I too am having my wedding at the Fox Hollow. Be sure to check out their 'in house' florist, John .. he is much cheaper than most florists that I have found and does beautiful work. Only downside is you will have to have someone pick up the flowers the day of the wedding .. he doesn't deliver. You should go to the Bridal Showcase on Oct 4th .. I'll be there taking notes!

We also requested a brand new song as our first dance (only about 5 days before) and they weren't sure if they'd be able to do it live. The night of the wedding I thought it was a CD but when I looked at them, they were actually singing it. I was totally impressed that they learned the song and did it so well in such a short time.

We had a great time with them and would recommend them again to anyone.

Yes, call the Fox Hollow. I just got the invitation yesterday in the mail, but it's Oct 4th at the FH. It is not an open Bridal Showcase, just for booked couples of Fox Hollow, Westbury Manor and Chateau Briand. (I think it starts at 6:30)

I met with Sharon this past Wednesday. She was helpful in giving us choices of 3 florists and the in-house one. It's a little easier for me to pick mine up since my ceremony doesn't start until 7:30pm .. but I am sure you still have more than enough time to find someone that will do a great job for you.

Jenn ... Yes it is at Fox Hollow, but apparently just for booked couples for FH, Westbury Manor and Chateau Briand. They will have all their recommended 'house' florists, bands, limos, etc. there.

If you are booked at one of the 3 places above, you will be getting an invitation shortly. If not, I can always pass along the info to you after. Let me know what you are interested in!

Cecily ... we are in the 'ceremony room' (I don't think it has a name), then the Winter Garden for the cocktail hour, then the Garden Pavillion for the reception. We are having 125 people so I don't think we qualified for the bigger room :)

I like the 'openess' of the glass ceilings in the room and the fireplace along with the waterfall in the Garden Pavillion sold me on the place.

And yes, Andy is finally feeling better, but I think his cure was giving it to me .. now I sound like he did!
