We have a large gap between church and RH and and family members are not happy with gap. We knew that there was a gap and there is nothing we can do about it. The Church is at 3 and RH is at 7. My parents have a small home and i know that would be the common option, but i was wondering if anyone had other suggestions. I was thinking of booking a suite for the night at the hotel and inviting thoses from out of town to go there in between to have a break, i would get a few snacks, drinks and food and set it up. This is the least expensive option that i can come up with, but im not sure if is a good idea. We were able to have our RH open for guest at 6pm, they wll give champange out before Cocktail hour at 7, but no earlier. Please help im open to suggestions?Thank you!
I don't know if this helps but a friend of mine had the same problem. In her church programs, she added a slip of paper with some suggestions of places to go or something to do, within the distance from the church to the RH and gave little descriptions of each. Alot of us just picked a bar and met up for drinks. People will figure it out, don't worry!
Since you are having a day wedding ceremony and night reception party..most people would want to go home and even freshen up or change into a different outfit for the hall, so I don't think it would be that bad if you did nothing..
