help - where to find flower girl dresses

this past weekend i went to burlington, macys & jcp. and we didnt find much at all. burlington had the best selection but there were like 10 dresses to choose from. macys and jcp only had easter dresses. granted, we were out of state.
will the roosevelt field area stores have a better selection? what about macy's herald square?
what about century 21?
has anyone ever been to designing dreams in mineola? do they have an 'off the rack' selection? or is everything custom made (and probably expensive)?
anyone know of anything else?
we dont want to do bridal shops (unless they have a discount rack) bc we dont want to spend more than $50-75 on the dress.

i feel like now is the time to do this - with easter and communions coming up. would appreciate any input!!

We did the same thing, though burlington had a small selection i found a cute one.. The burlington on Union Turnpike in Glen Oaks had a bigger selection of dresses. HTH

try david's bridal, there is one in Westbury not too far from Roosevelt Field.

There are soo many nice online websites for FG dresses. I used mygirldress.com (I think that was website) I paid 55 and it is soo cute. Also flowergirldressforless.com has a good selection

Definitely try Davids Bridal, they have great prices and their dresses are adorable.

Which Macy's did you try? I have an appointment with the Macy's in Manhasset to check out the the flower girl dresses in the Bridal Salon. I have also heard of flowergirldressesforless.com and know three friends who have purchases and RAVED!!! I also just ordered two dress from Kohl's - and if you have a Kohl's card, you can use the code 'jellybean' to get 30% off through Saturday!

Try Tri-County...they have a couple places in there to get FG dresses.

Marshall's, Nordstrom Rack, etc. I have never gone to those stores for clothes - usually home decor and stuff - but I went looking for e-party dresses and was shocked. They have the same stuff that I had tried on in Macy's the day before, but wayyy less. Their children's departments are probably just as good!

awesome - thanks for the input everyone!! i didnt even think of davids bridal!!! hopefully they have sales every now and then (am a little suprised to see some of these dresses priced at $150!)

we were out of state in western mass - not near any cities. still thought i wouldve found something!!

i also found some cute ones on pinkprincess.com - anyone know anything about them?

there is a dress store at the Jersey Gardens mall on the lower level. can't think of the name right now but its like a prom dress store and in the back they have a TON of dresses for brides, flower girl, etc and GREAT prices! check it out.
