Help- Where were you with your venue 3 months out?

Is this a lack of vendor communication or am I jumping the gun??

My wedding is in 95 days, that's about 13 weeks. All that I know for sure from my RH is when my wedding will be and that will be food there and tables with vanilla linens. I haven't had a tasting, the contract says to call in February at the two month mark but I don't want to wait that long, plus I want to get my menus printed since I approved my proof already. I have no idea who is actually going to be in charge of my wedding as I have not heard from a banquet manager or from anyone really, I always have to call them. I recently got the name of a banquet manager from the manager of the place so I'm going to just call and ask for her I guess. I suppose my question is, what type of communication have you/do you have with your venue? I'm getting worried. Is this normal? Where were you with your venue 3 months out?

Help...I'm starting to stress big time.

I think we had our menu meeting 2 months out. They contacted me via letter to tell me to call and set up the appointment- sent all the paperwork via snail mail.

- If you're worried about not having enough time and want to begin printing menus and such, then by all means call them!

my RH didn't contact me at all until it got closer to the wedding date .... however, it was me who called thema bout 2 months before the wedding to set up the menu appointment.
