For make-up I HIGHLY reccomend Wajana Vallecillo- 718-760-8134. She was amazing! My make-up was flawless and lasted all day and night! She is very up to date with the styles and makes you look VERY natural.

After my trial today, I definitely recommend Denise from Angel Eyes. She is wonderful and such a sweetheart. She did and excellent job. I posted pics from my trial today if you want to see her work.
Try Cosmetic Artistry by Mya. She is a vendor on the site, and she does both hair and makeup. Her pics look really nice.

My hair cost only $75 and it included the trial.. her name is Ann Dietz shes REALLY good, works in a salon and runs her own salon out of her house... Bridesmaids are 50.. No trial for them.. 631-455-4022
Makeup wa also affordable, $ 40 and that also includes the trial.. SHE IS AWESOME!!!!! I went for TWO trials!!!! Cant say anything more than.. JUST GO FOR A TRIAL!!! Dawn Mas 631-567-6408

I'm getting married in September and I heard about Laura from Estee Lauder (In Manhasset) 516-869-9100 (at Estee) and 516-286-0026 (home). She just did my make up tonight and I loved it!!
$55.00 for the trial, $55.00 if you come to Estee or $75.00 if she comes to your home.
She totally listened to what I wanted - smokey eyes, but understated (I'm not used to a lot of makeup). I LOVED it!

has anyone used cosmetic artistry by mya? her pictures look really nice - but i am wondering if anyone has actually has a trial with her or used her and if so can you post pictures? i am just so overwhelmed by the hair and makeup thing - i dont ever wear makeup myself so i am really confused one person i called who will remain nameless asked me if i was warm or cool and when i didnt know got all nasty with me - i nearly cried .... guess i am looking for someone who is going to understand i really dont know anything about makeup so help please - i wrote to jn and am waiting to hear back her pictures look really nice tooo. any other suggestions for this makeup misfit are more than welcome
