Help wit bridal party

Im not sure what to do with my bridal party. I want to put in 2 of my aunts but everyones sayin it supposed to be friends...i have friends in the party but i want my aunt ...i need opinions!!

well i did,

my aunt is my moh, & my sister in law is one of my bm's, imo i dont see anything odd about that .

i would put whoever you feel you are close to and you want around you on that day, there are no rules that it has to be friends, people put cousins why not aunts

If you are close with your Aunts, there is no reason why they should not be in your bridal party. I think people are soo used to seeing friends and members of the BP be around your age, however, if you feel like you want your Aunt.. Have your Aunt. Its what you want to do to make your day special!

Yeah there is no rule that says your bridal party has to only be friends!! Pick whoever you want! Remember, its your day!!!

My sister in law had her aunt in it. It is your wedding, I think if you want your aunt in it then your aunt should be in it.

Do you know how many people on the boards complain about thier wedding party? Tons!! If these people are close to you and won't make your life miserable then by all means...ask them!

I want my Aunt as my MOH, and might do this. But I have two other Aunts that I'm close with and really only want my one aunt in the BP. How do you not offend anyone?

Bottom Line is: It's your day, no one else. You pick and choose your bridal party. Don't mind what other people's opinion are. Bridal party is suppose to be close friends or family members.

there really are no 'rules' when it comes to BP's. It just a matter of the people who are closest to you in your life that you would like to share the day with in a special way.
