Help with a wedding gown.....

Did anyone by a 'Private Label' Dress.....I found 'the dress' but the sample size in all of the bridal stores is a size 12 which unfortunately will not get over my hips/shoulders......
The dress is part of the ginza collection and is style # 86413. I was just wondering if anyone knows of a place somewhere .... no further than about 2 hours away or so....that might have this dress in a larger size....it has bead work across the top then dips into a V and splits open with an organza overlay....
Can anyone recommend a bridal salon with a LARGE selection of gowns and a big plus size section??? Thanks ladies

I got my private label dress from Adriennes.

Bridal Garden in Bethpage carries them, but Im not sure how large the selection is.

The site was no help...I tried looking up locations where they sell their gowns. Why don't you write to them and find out other stores? That will help you. Then you can call the stores to see if they have that dress in a larger size.

In the most current issue of modern bride there are two ads for private label.

It lists www.lestanbridals.com as a seller in NY

I went to Bridal Suite in Bayshore. They had many gowns in larger sizes! Cynthia was very helpful!

I also got a Privete Label by GInza gown but it was in Staten Island at Theresa's Bridal, they were very friendly there. maybe call and see if they have what you want, i don't know the number offhand - mom had the reciept- but if interested i can get it for you

Also someone mentioned lestans - it's in brooklyn, a few people i know went looking there and my mom worked there briefly, they are not that nice there, at least thats what i've heard

Thanks girls!!! I've called about 25 different places (including the manufacturer who gave me the information to every store that ordered a 16 or higher for a bride but unfortunately, theyre not for everyone to try on ) LUCKILY....Fantasia Bridal has a sample in an 18 so I have an appointment tomorrow morning!! Thanks for all of your suggestions....i'll let you know how it goes!!

Someone mentioned Lestans. THey don't carry larger sizes, and if you call to ask tehy may lie to you and tell you they carry larger sizes just to get you to go in. Good luck on your search!

i went to bridal suite of bayshore too!!! lets just say my size is above a 16 and they had MANY dresses to try on up to size 26 i think.

I got mine at Renate's in lindenhurst. They might have it.
