I got my dress from David's Bridal but I don't want them to alter it. Does anyone know if any good places in Queens or close to Queens? I unfortunately live in Staten Island so LI is a little inconvenient for me, though I would definitely take the trip if the seamstress was worth it!

I'm taking mine to a place in Forest Hills. I should be taking it in next week so I cannot give you a price estimate. I know my mom has used them in the past & she's been happy with the outcome.

I'm going to a woman named Cathy, her store is in Baldwin. She just opened her storefront, but she's been in business for years. She does amazing work. FM me if you want her number.

My friend used a woman in Staten Island for her alterations. I am in LI at FH's now, but I will speak to her this week and get you her number. I think she paid something like $150.
